Razorcut patterns: Market Ct.

Photobucket

There is initially a subtle then ever increasing re-occurrence of the razor cut pattern on this young lady's
bag, scarf, hair and ring.

Casting Couch - Jose

jose do brasil2

Brazilian by birth, a Londoner by residence and fate, Jose is our first casting couch guest.
It would
seem that he missed the couch ever so slightly but it's nearby, I assure you.

Whilst I personally couldn't pull off her outfit, the striking thing about it is its individuality. That and the little details that aren't immediately noticeable...the earrings, the shoes...the more I look at this picture, the more things I notice.

I know its been done before, but hi-tops + well fitted jeans + top button done up + large nerdy glasses (forgot to ask where from...I'm new to this) equals winner. Always.

Soho

Photobucket

Standing outside a record shop in Soho, this guy oozes sprezzatura. Simple, effortless and yet so cool.
The hat is the cherry on top, so to speak.

Though originally drawn to the boots, the colour and texture of the cardigan are also eye-catching.
Is that the cardigan? Or are we seeing his shirt through it?

Introducing Made in London

Take it away Myles...

MADE IN LONDON
Made In London, was launched in August 2009 by Myles Carruthers, a native Londoner and N, a citizen of the world. Made In London is an appreciative celebration of London life. It aims to capture the widely varying styles of London’s inhabitants and visitors, to liberate the secrets of its side-streets, and to serve as an outlet for N’s photographical experimentation and Mr.Carruthers’s commentary.

Made In London is divided into four sub-categories:

• London’s a stage: Street photography with Londoners as subject material
• Casting Couch: A place where whatever happens...happens?
• Things we like: Exactly what it says on the tin. A collection of opinions, photographs, rants and raves about things we like.
• Retail Therapy: We hunt down quirky and cool boutiques with stylish staff and tell you about them.
